BUDGIE PARAKEET PARROT CAGE HOME TOUR

BUDGIE PARAKEET PARROT CAGE HOME TOUR

LINK TO NEW AVIARY UPDATE. PLEASE READ FIRST !!!!!

This cage is getting small for these two and they are getting a bigger home some time next month. I will update their new home. I have various brands of budgie foods and only use the ones without artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. If organic foods are available, I will only use organic timothy hays and bird seeds. I incorporate both natural and plastic toys to keep them from boredom. I use a water bottle and a water cup so they can slowly figure out how to use a water bottle . Many birds have died because the owners have defective/clogged water bottles. Having many water sources prevent the likelihood of bird dying from dehydration. Birds are very sensitive to chemical in water such as chlorines. I use filtered water for birds. I give them fresh vegetables as well as natural spray millets, mineral rocks, himalayan salt, dried corns, and cuttle bones. There are various supplements on the market of various herbs, plants, and flowers I use to supplement my birds so they are not malnourished. They come in dehydrated tiny packages. I also added textured perches for them to trim their beaks and nails. Bath are given every other day with warm water. They love bells so I made a giant bell for them to ring all day. One of their favorite toys are the spinning bowling pins. They love basketball. I also add many natural toys such as basket for them to pick up nuts and sticks . They love sorting stuff out. They tend to like natural toys more. They love their wooden bridge and cozy basket . There used to be timothy hays in the basket but they tear them all down. I introduce new toys about every 2 days. Find something new and interesting to keep them happy and entertained. Both of my birds are boys so I don’t think they’ll be breeding any time soon. I keep them by the window so they can get a view outside and natural sunlight as well. The windows are never opened unsupervised as many birds can die from cold draft. They are kept covered at night with a blanket over their cage. When sunbathing, I always keep one side of the cage covered just case they get too hot, they can hide under the shade. There is also a warm snuggly fleece covered swing inside the cage in case they need to get away from the cold. Keep many options available in case of temperature changes so they won’t get overheated or freeze to death. I will get them a bigger cage within the next few months.

Parrot Shenanigans Episode 2 – Everybirdy is Misbehaving!

Funny clips from our day today. Sir William was his usual grumpy self. KC Bug was trying his best to chew through everything he could, and Queenie was getting herself into trouble every single time I wasn’t around!! Thanks for watching and let me know in the comments if you like this idea for videos and if you think I should continue this little series! 🙂 Please subscribe and join our parrot family on Instagram at Parrot_Sir_William.

DERPLA the caique: Updates!

DERPLA the caique: Updates!

Hi! You requested some updates about Derpla and how he is doing. For new visitors: Derpla is my white-bellied caique parrot who was severely neglected as baby and was very close to death. I’m going through his story in my video “Tale of Derpla”. WATCH IT HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tZvEKWJVhI

In this video I’m telling about his life nowadays and how he has recovered – but also what kind of problems were left after childhood inadequate nutrition. Nothing serious, I promise! 🙂

I’m also giving a little brief about my channel’s future and announcing the name change.

REGGAE-Mickey Dread & King Tubby-Parrot Jungle

Cartoon~Tom And Jerry~Jungle Jam
Parrot Jungle- Mickey Dread & King Tubby
The characters were a Mutt and Jeff-like pair, one short (Jerry) and one tall (Tom). Each cartoon featured a different adventure and the plot varied from film to film. Sometimes they were lawyers, hunters, plumbers, hobos, etc. The duo were likely named after the stage play and/or the mixed drink of the same name, both of which predated the duo by a century. Stylistically, the cartoons were similar to those made by Fleischer Studios, which like Van Beuren Studios was located in New York City. According to Markstein’s Toonopedia, Fleischer staff sometimes moonlighted at Van Beuren’s, which was situated just across the road (accounting for the many visual similarities between the two). Tom and Jerry’s adventures were generally absurdist comedies, featuring bizarre imagery, racist themes, and more than a few (minor) sexual references. One 1932 short (Piano Tooners) introduced a “flapper” character clearly[weasel words] derived from Fleischer’s Betty Boop, further demonstrating the stylistic relationship between the two studios. Tom and Jerry, however, did not obtain popularity of the type Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, and Bosko had, and the series was cancelled in 1933.
