  1. I could add some more…"This parrot is sleeping with the fishes. It's at peace. It's counting the worms. This parrot is caput. It's passed away and is now at rest. This parrot is defunct. It's departed and gone to reward. This parrot has perished. It's an inert parrot! It has kicked the bucket. It's not with us anymore!"

  2. When you come here to learn different expressions for death…

  3. This reminds me of x + y when i saw
That scene i didn't knownit was from Monty Python

  4. "It's not pining it's past done!" "This parrot is no more!" "This is an EX-PARROT!"

  5. I brought a car to be painted at maaco, I experienced a similar situation as this skit there. first they painted it the wrong color telling me it looked fine, had them paint it again the right color and it came out blotches, they said it looks fine, had them paint it again, came back it was covered with about 100 fish eyes, they said it was fine. my car rental is costing me more then the paint on my car. I swear I'm in a real life python sketch… but lets change subject , and now frontal nudity..

  6. Caption: "A similar pet shop in Bolton, Lancs"
    Sign: SIMILAR PET SHOPS Ltd.

  7. For everyone asking what makes Monty Python funny to some people, it's that the sketches are both silly and relatable. It's classic satire in the same way the Onion is funny. Monty Python pokes fun of certain aspects of life or culture. In this case, they're making fun of a situation where you have to return something, which is relatable both to people who have worked retail, or those who tend to get into arguments with people who give you bullshit answers to things. It's also the absurdity of the way he talks about the parrot. Some people don't find it funny, and that's okay.

  8. Ive never understood Monty Python. I know this is one of their more famous skits, and frankly, I don't find it funny at all.

  9. in drama class one girl did this, well, a lot of people did monty python skits, funny but lazy

  10. dreadful.. did people really think that was funny ?? its ghastly !!

  11. I asked my sister about fancy ways to say 'died' for my report on the duel of 1804… she told me to watch this…

  12. my mother and my sister bought a rabbit from a pet shop near us a couple of years ago. it inexplicably died about 3 days later. my mother went back to the shop to tell the guy behind the counter. "What? No you must be mistaken. We don't even sell rabbits."
    true story.

  13. who else just found out that this is where that Nostalgia Critic moment they loved so much comes from?

  14. Finished watching it, now let me try explain something here. The reason this 'so called comedy' appealed to so many, is simple. Two things, number 1: people felt attracted towards this, wrongly assuming they had a higher I.Q. Number 2: Autism, people suffering from mild autism found this funny. If you look for a show called the story of the twos, there's a sketch mocking this type of humour, that's actually funny. Go watch that, or please seek professional help and get that autism diagnosed please.
