What a Joke! Birds are Scared of Bird Toys
Birds are scared of bird toys? What a joke! I never knew my cockatiels are scared of parrot toys. I used to buy them a lot of toys and they love them so much but this time, it's so weird that they ran away or flew away once seeing these toys. What's wrong with them? Or I bought them the wrong ones?

G'day! We're from Australia with 3 native cockatiels.
Ana: Female, DOB 27/09/2020
Ana is a grey pearl cockatiel and she was bald as she was abused by her parents before she's 3 weeks old. She's timid and can be easily scared.
Lemon: Female, DOB 29/10/2020
Lemon is a pied lutino cockatiel with grey pattern on the right wing. Lemon is naughty and lively. She can't leave people even for one moment, she is unable to stay in the cage for too long.
Quishna: Male DOB 07/12/2020
Quishna is a pied lutino as well with grey pattern on the left wing. Quishna is the youngest one and he's smart and proud - never allow people to touch but he is gradually becoming the lead of the 3.
We live as a family, eat and play together!

Qué bellos 😍
So I ordered a toy for parrots: made of natural wood, 30 by 30 centimeters, for 3000 ₽. After waiting for five days, imagine, we transferred the order for an indefinite period! That's the way 👍 delivery is at Ozon
My cockatiels do the same thing. It's like anything new and different is scary. They eventually get used to the toys and start to play with them after awhile.
My Joey is scared of new toys & fixtures for her cage. She recently had to have a new perch & I had one on hand but, she hated it & wouldn't go near it. Had to get a new one & she went to sit on it almost before I got it installed! Go figure…
My tiel is afraid of her toys at the first moment too😂
I hope they het used to the toys soon. I wish I could get these toys in my country, my tiels would love these🙂
What? jajajajajaj very cutw
my cockatiels were scared of a wooden bridge/ladder i got for them
You put so much effort and personality into your videos. They're so much fun. Thank you for sharing your birds with us
My birds get scared of their new toys too, so the vet said it is best to hang them outside the cage or in sight so they can investigate them when they are curious. ☺️
